Andrew Warren is an adviser and researcher in integrated water resources management and climate change adaptation at Deltares (Netherlands). He holds a masters degree in civil engineering from Delft University of Technology. An experienced facilitator and trainer, Andrew combines his knowledge and experience in water management and international development with his interest in engaging stakeholders within technical planning processes. He develops and implements collaborative modelling approaches, in addition to deploying serious games as tools for stakeholder communication, awareness-raising and capacity development. He is further engaged in the development and application of adaptive planning methodologies and approaches dealing with future uncertainty. He applies these techniques in international contexts for a wide range of audiences including policy makers, scientists, government officials, students and the general public.
