The country is based on agriculture and about 50% population is landless labors. The starting consequence of poverty in Bangladesh is that more 50% of population is the victim of some form of malnutrition. Thousands of children clic every year before they reach their five years of age due to malnutrition and related diseases. Bangladesh National Nutrition survey conducted in 1995 shows great majority of children of school age constituted a nulnerble group suffer from high rate of physical retardation, micronutrient deficiencies specially Iron, Jodure calcium, Vitamin etc.
A representative sample was used to asser the nutritional status of children of Bangladesh. Various in flying factors, such as food and nutrient in take, antflono motive and clinical parameters socio economic & environmental facing here taken unto account.
