General Conference Information

General Info

Registration Desk
The registration desk is located in Foyer M on the Ground Level of the Adelaide Convention Centre and will be attended during the following times:
Monday 4th July: 4.00pm – 6.00pm
Tuesday 5th July: 7.30am – 6.00pm
Wednesday 6th July: 7.30am – 6.30pm
Thursday 7th July: 8.00am – 3.15pm

Access to the conference
Name badges: Delegates will be required to wear name badges at all times during the conference. This will allow access to all plenary, panel and parallel sessions as well as the welcome reception and poster sessions.
Dinner tickets: Tickets have been placed in the back of your name tag if you have registered for the conference dinner.

Meal breaks
Morning and afternoon tea and lunch will be served in the Exhibition Area in Foyer L on the Ground Level. We have arranged for special meals to be prepared for those delegates who have pre-registered their special dietary requirements. Special meals will be available from the designated buffet stations during meal breaks. Please see a member of the banquet staff for assistance.

Internet access
Complimentary Wi-Fi is available at the Adelaide Convention Centre. For more information, please speak with the staff at the registration desk.

Keep abreast of any program changes by checking the conference app on your computer, tablet or smartphone. The conference app displays an online version of the program, continually updated throughout the conference.

Welcome Reception

The welcome reception provides a great opportunity to register for the conference and network with colleagues

Guided poster session and drinks
Tuesday 5th July 6.00 – 7.30pm Hall L
The session is a chance to meet poster presenters and discuss their research over a drink.

Poster session and pre-dinner drinks
Wednesday 6th July 6.30 – 7.30pm Hall L
Discuss posters with their authors and gather for drinks before the conference dinner.

Conference Dinner
Wednesday 6th July 7.30 – 10.30pm Panorama Ballroom
Dress in your finest for the Low Carb Glam Conference Dinner. Enjoy the menu sourced from the Adelaide region and dinner conversation with other delegates. You must have preregistered for the dinner in order to attend, and present your dinner ticket at the door.

Dulcie’s Shop of Real Opportunity
Dulcie, the brainchild of Hutt St Centre Patron Amanda Blair, is a mobile op shop located within a redecorated old bus. Dulcie will be onsite during the conference, so you can purchase a fabulous outfit for the dinner. She’s perky, dazzling and filled with the ultimate in vintage clothing:

Meeting Room
A small meeting room will be available for delegates wishing to book a room for a private meeting at the conference. Check availability at the registration desk.
